TOZAOU's canopy jacket is made from raw cotton weather fabric using a colorfast reactive dyeing process.

" Fabric canopies, a part of Japanese commercial architecture and Western-style design from the 1970s and 80s, deteriorated over time due to their unsuitability for Japan's climate, and remain as remnants and part of the memories of the cityscape in modern urban landscapes. This is an experimental expression of something close to that texture and condition, as something that can be worn. (Designer's comment)"
