We developed the "sweatshirt" that we wear the most, from scratch, in collaboration with JERZEES.
The pattern dimensions for the crew neck are based on body measurements from the era when sweatshirts were mass-produced in America (1970s to 1980s). In a good way, it's a common sweatshirt that everyone has "seen."
The fabric uses open-end yarn, which has been widely used in the United States. Since the yarn contains air, it creates a voluminous texture and a dry, crisp feel, resulting in an exquisite finish in terms of texture, color, and feel.
While possessing a substantial 13.2 oz weight and robust durability that resists losing its shape, repeated wear and washing will make the fabric conform to your body, changing the comfort and developing a unique "flavor."
As you wash it, it develops a better quality, so it has higher moisture absorption than regular sweatshirts and, despite being 100% cotton, it excels in quick-drying properties. Even in seasons when it's usually difficult to dry clothes outdoors, it dries well indoors, so you can wear it frequently.
Also, personally, I'm someone who wants to use it thoroughly in the autumn, winter, and spring seasons, so I requested a French terry lining. It has the high sweat-absorbing properties required for French terry, which effectively absorbs large amounts of sweat, so it's also notable for being firmly based on historical manufacturing backgrounds.
Size S is balanced to be easily worn by women with a 155cm physique and smaller men up to 160cm.
Size M was created to be the ideal balance for my 168cm frame when worn alone.
And Size L has a width and sleeve length that can be comfortably worn by those 175cm and taller.
The cords (drawstrings) historically used for athletic purposes were specially made in original colors and THIRD PLACE specifications.Customers who purchase a sweatshirt will receive it tied with a THIRD PLACE cord.
