The 1-pin rivet, which has been an icon of 7285 since the first collection and has seen various variations produced, now features a new structure. For this collection, a new 1-pin rivet hinge made of metal was developed for the joint part. This traditional and rare technique involves polishing the plastic front and temples together with the metal hinge, then beautifully aligning the joint and applying low-temperature plating to the hinge.
The lens shape, composed of intricate lines, is similar to that of the metal frame "188." While the shape is original, it creates an even fresher look when used in an acetate frame. The overall impression is minimal yet somewhat robust.
