Cotton Cashmere
Hello. This is Nishiwaki from THIRD PLACE.
Thank you to everyone who came to see extreme cashmere so soon.
I was so happy to share our love of cashmere with all of you!
Some items are already sold out, but I still have plenty of recommended items, so I look forward to seeing you!
Now, let's talk about extreme cashmere again today.

In my previous blog post, I mainly focused on styling, but today I'd like to introduce the "cotton cashmere" series.
I wrote a blog post about cotton cashmere in April titled "Summer extreme cashmere", but there's something I really want to convey about it this time.
That is, cotton cashmere T-shirts are not just for summer.
They will become an important masterpiece for the upcoming season as well.

Many of you probably debuted cotton cashmere T-shirts in April, but I wanted to first let many people know the merits of wearing cashmere T-shirts in warm weather, so I pushed for styling them simply as a single item.
And what I want to recommend for the autumn/winter season is using them as an "inner layer".

I'm pairing them with new items that have already arrived in the store, and I consider choosing inner layers for main autumn/winter items to be very important.
Underneath a jacket in autumn when it's still warm, as an inner layer for fleece in early winter, and as an inner layer to wear a leather jacket in my own style, which I want to try this season.
For those who already own one, it's probably a T-shirt that they find attractive enough on its own, but I think its appeal is further enhanced by adding this way of wearing it.

So, the model I chose for AW26 is "james". This is the only choice.
All the inner layer suggestions in the photos I just showed were james.
This is my most frequently worn model right now, and I've worn it the most this summer.
It's a little more compact than the T-shirts I've chosen in recent years, so I was a bit uneasy at first, but now I don't dislike it at all. In fact, I like the slightly tighter balance, which feels more mature, after a long time.
Its characteristic is a subtle balance that is neither oversized nor just-fit, which is very difficult to describe in words (laughs). The extreme cashmere description calls it the "brand's idea of a regular fit," and it's certainly a model that embodies that.
For my style, which prefers a normal look, the balance of inner layers is something I pay close attention to, and I think this model is perfect in that regard.
And because the material is so good, I really like how it doesn't look inferior and blends in naturally when worn as an inner layer under substantial autumn and winter items.
I chose SNOW and NAVY colors, which are easy for me to use, and that was a great decision.

What I feel when wearing this T-shirt is, "It's just so comfortable." It's such a simple, yet profoundly satisfying aspect that makes me want to wear it every day.
When it gets colder, you'll layer clothes on top, but the part that touches your skin the most will be comfortable, and I think that unseen, personal luxury is a sophisticated way to enjoy it.

And there's another cotton cashmere style I've prepared for this timing.
That's "rock," extreme cashmere's long-sleeve T-shirt.

This is my subjective opinion, but I've been wearing long-sleeve T-shirts less often lately.
The sturdy cotton long-sleeve T-shirts I used to wear so often became worn out, and I kept putting off getting new ones. Then, with the annual climate changes and not actively searching for anything specific I wanted to wear, I gradually stopped wearing them.
It was during this period of neglecting long-sleeve T-shirts that I encountered "rock."
By then, I already understood the quality of extreme cashmere's cotton cashmere, so when I saw this long-sleeve with a sizing approach different from short-sleeve T-shirts, I couldn't help but be interested.

Rock features an oversized silhouette that uses plenty of cotton cashmere, and as you can see, its simple design makes it very easy to wear.
However, the calculated oversized fit maximizes the inherent quality of the simple design through its material, resulting in something that feels ordinary yet extraordinary when you put it on.

What's more, the thinness of the fabric is a personal favorite of mine. It's easy to imagine wearing it frequently in the subtle temperatures of autumn or just before winter really begins.
For example, in November, you might not want to wear a heavy knit yet, but there are times when it gets chilly and you want to wear wool.
You can spend the daytime in just one layer, and then when it gets colder at night, you can layer a jacket over it, which brings us back to the discussion of inner layers.
In the previous blog post, Miura and Kubono styled this "rock," and for the ambiguous period of September and October when it's still warm, pairing it with shorts is also recommended. It offers a lot of freedom in how you can use it, so I think fashion lovers will really fall for this "rock."
My base will likely be casually incorporating it into my usual denim style, but lately I've also been wearing wool slacks often, and since this long-sleeve T-shirt, which can easily look casual, is made with such high quality, I'm happy that it can be perfectly matched with both types of atmospheres.
While "james" was in SNOW white, for "rock" we prepared a lovely off-white color called BONE. This is my recommended color for the season.
We also have a deep NAVY, so both colors are easy to use.

That concludes my discussion on the cotton cashmere I've focused on this season.
Finally, let me talk about the material again.
This series is characterized by the use of a special cotton-cashmere blend fabric that combines the lightness and toughness of custom cotton with the softness and luxurious sheen of cashmere, offering the best of both worlds.
It uses only the highest quality, durable cashmere sourced from goats in inner Mongolia, which is rich in heat retention and moisture retention, and excellent at absorbing and wicking away sweat. Therefore, you can wear it comfortably all day long, regardless of the season.
Furthermore, by blending in 70% cotton, it enhances durability and allows for machine washing at home.
In short, while extreme cashmere clothes are special, the brand's core philosophy is that they are designed as everyday wear.
Wear good quality clothes normally, wash them frequently.
After wearing it all day, put it in a laundry net and wash it.
Then, once it's dry, wear it again.
They create clothes with the image of such an ordinary daily life in mind.
And what's more, they offer this with high technology so that it can be used for many years.
I would be delighted if you could experience the standards for choosing clothes that we value at THIRD PLACE, precisely through extreme cashmere.
