THIRD PLACE celebrated its one-year anniversary on April 6th.

It feels like it's been both a long time and no time at all, but we've made it this far.

Thank you.

 

Recently, more new people have been visiting, and while it's a somewhat hard-to-find place, I'm truly happy that you've discovered us.

We'll continue to do various things to make this place a third place for everyone.

 

Today, I want to reintroduce something that I hope people will pick up first when they encounter this place.

This store also started with trousers, and they are an important item in this shop.

 

And right now, the pair of trousers we want to recommend are from TOZAOU.

When you're not sure what to choose, they're the kind of item you naturally reach for. They don't over-assert themselves but quietly add a subtle presence to your everyday attire.

Although this shop has a high proportion of denim, this season we are focusing on trousers.

 

While we have several criteria for what we consider good, the most important is that it is "everyday" wear. We believe that choosing something that fits our lifestyle and can be used regularly is a good thing, and these trousers embody that.

 

 

 

 

 

Many of you might be wondering, "TOZAOU?" but it's an Osaka-based brand, and THIRD PLACE is the only store in the Tokai region that carries it. They've been with us since our opening, and they've gradually gained a following at our store.

The designer, Mr. Uozato, originally came from men's apparel manufacturing and is well-versed in tailoring.

TOZAOU's clothing is designed with an awareness of fit and how it conforms to the body, so the clothing looks beautiful, and I think they are very good at maintaining a just-right balance without overdoing it.

For these trousers, if the fabric were cut as is, the tension of the fabric would be horizontal. However, the pattern is rotated 90° during cutting to ensure that the tension appears vertically. This allows the trousers to achieve a three-dimensional, corrective silhouette by adding vertical tension to the drape.

 

 

 

 

The material is 100% wool-like polyester.

It's wrinkle-resistant and can be easily washed even in sweaty summer months, so you'll find yourself reaching for it more often. I think it's the most natural-fitting pair of trousers for this season.
