ANOTHER ASPECT at THIRD PLACE #2
Hello. This is Nishiwaki from THIRD PLACE.
I met the Another Aspect team in Paris in January 2024.
Another Aspect was the first brand I bought when I went on my first overseas buying trip.
Strangely enough, we clicked right away from the first time we met.
I still remember how I felt when I decided to carry their products without hesitation, because I resonated with their personalities, their way of thinking, and the clothes they create.
I meet with them twice a year in Paris, and we deepen our friendship by having dinner together and being invited to parties.
We had been discussing the concept of THIRD PLACE even before it was completed, and they were looking forward to this place together with us.
He had also said, "Let's do something together when the time comes," so personally, I feel like it's finally come true! (laughs)
The Another Aspect team doesn't simply think of selling clothes, but rather enriching lives through clothing. We value the connections we make with people. When we actually hold events in Europe, friends who met through their clothes gather together, and the circle of friends grows bigger every year. It's become a community. I'm a part of it, and thanks to them, I've met people from all sorts of countries, made wonderful connections, and now whenever I go to Paris, people call out my name and greet me as I walk around the city. (laughs)
In this age of social media dominance, THIRD PLACE also values direct communication, so we've designed our events to connect what we both value.
We unveiled the look on Instagram tonight, and the photoshoot took place in Paris, the place where we first met.
The photos were taken in a cafe, which is a third place for people in Paris.
Since we don't usually get to meet in Nagoya and Copenhagen, I couldn't personally check the finished items until the day of the event. But I was so happy when I saw the graphics and saw the surprise of them adding our names in Paris...
We asked Neige , a model and photographer based in France, to work with us on a photoshoot together with the Another Aspect team.
Neige has photographed Salomon's campaign visuals and Sakura Ando for Harper's BAZAAR, and I highly recommend checking out her photos on her Instagram. She captured a wonderful atmosphere through her unique perspective.
I've done various photo shoots before, but it was my first time working with a European team on-site, and it was a very stimulating experience.
For this look, we've taken our items and given them a different perspective and vibe.
Starting tomorrow, we'll be uploading our styling photos.
