Our Sweatshirts
Hello, this is Nishiwaki from THIRD PLACE.
March has arrived in the blink of an eye.
In Nagoya, the sunshine is warm during the day, and there are more and more days that make you feel like spring is here. (Except for pollen..)
When March comes As a clothing store owner, I have a rule to stop selling "winter sweaters and coats." I feel that wearing heavy wool items is a different experience, so I switch to cotton, silk, and wool materials for spring and summer. ( So every February, I rush to wear a lot of my winter staples that I haven't worn much.
However, even though it's March, it's still cold in the mornings and evenings, so you'll need to think of ways to get through the day in spring clothes. The first big change is from my winter cashmere to sweats. (Although, in my case, I still wear sweats in the winter...)
As a sweat lover, I think March and April are especially useful, so they are my favorite seasons.
So today I'm going to blog about that sweatshirt again.
Our sweatshirt, which was unveiled last November .
It's been about five months since we unveiled it, and so many people have chosen it, and many people have learned about THIRD PLACE through this sweatshirt, so it has become a popular item in the shop.
Anyway, I can confidently say to you all We ourselves wear it a lot. We like it so much that customers at the shop say, "You wear it all the time, haha!" so we're really glad we made it.
Around me every day Since everyone is wearing it, we often end up wearing matching outfits.
The photo is of my personal belongings at home, but I have all the sweatshirts from this series in stock, so my house is full of them.
I've bought a lot of different sweatshirts over the years, but I've sorted them out quite a bit.
The one I wear most often is a gray crew neck jacket, which I've probably washed over 100 times, but it's still so well-worn that you can't really tell from photos how it's aged.
I made it with a tightly woven, tough fabric, and I've recently felt that this has really proven itself. It's starting to look a bit worn down compared to when it was new, and I'd like to continue to bring out its charm.
What surprised me the most was that it dried in a day even when hung indoors in the winter. The same goes for parkas, which dry easily if you hang them out with the hood up, so if you work in a job where you wear clothes every day, it's a really reliable product.
This ties back to what I said at the beginning, but this sweatshirt is made from fleece, so I'd like to tell you that you can wear it well into the spring. And I hope you'll put it to good use!!!
Even if it's a sweatshirt, if it has a fleece or brushed lining, you will need to change seasons, but we made it with the aim of making something that can be used steadily for a long period of time, so as the new 26SS items are gradually being released and we are communicating our styling, they have appeared frequently there and will continue to be a core item.
I'd like to wear it as an inner layer in early spring, and then as a standalone piece once it gets a little warmer.
To me, one answer to the question "What is good clothing?" is "clothes that you wear often." This sweatshirt, which has taken root in my life, is the perfect symbol of that.
I am 168cm tall and wear size M for all models.
It's only been five months since I made this sweatshirt, so I think it's too early to say how it compares to a new one in detail... I'd like to introduce it sometime in the future. When that happens, I'd like to gather all the personal items that you've all bought and hold a big verification session, so please lend me your support!
The HELS×THIRD PLACE hoodie that was unveiled in January has had some of the print color fade after repeated washing, giving it a nice texture. I plan to wear it by itself a lot this spring.
So, what I really want to say in today's blog is, "Let's wear this sweatshirt a lot this spring!" lol

Since we had ordered a large quantity, we thought we would be fine this year and did not place any additional orders, so there will be no restock in 2026...
