Last month, I introduced HERILL's spring collection, which was a great success, thanks to you all.

It's wonderful to hear from so many customers who discovered HERILL for the first time through THIRD PLACE, or even purchased items as a result.

 

Since I received a question asking, "By the way, what about HERILL's summer collection?", today I'd like to introduce THIRD PLACE's summer HERILL items.

You might be thinking, "Denim?", but this is the pair I highly recommend for summer.

For those who have been visiting us since our opening, you'll know that THIRD PLACE's HERILL denim is now available from the inline collection this season.

The medium-thick straight silhouette, which is "in-between" slim and wide, is the balance we've prioritized with HERILL.

While the silhouette and specifications remain unchanged from before, the big difference this time is the "material" and "color."

 

 

 

 

First, regarding the material, this season it's 100% linen.

The yarn is used so densely that it's woven with high density, making it difficult to tell it's linen at first glance. You can only truly feel its softness when you crumple it up, as shown in the photo.

It has a very light touch and a refreshing feel, but I was impressed that the appearance isn't overly light. For a denim lover like me, denim that can be worn comfortably in midsummer is precious, so this suggestion, given that it was my most worn model last year, was perfect.

I often get asked, "Isn't denim hot in summer?", but I'd really like those people to try this once.

For those who don't like denim, they might wonder if it's really necessary to wear denim that much, but I'm the type who wants to thoroughly enjoy what I love, so this suggestion makes me happy.

 

 

 

 

And the colors this season are a "darker" vintage worn color, which wasn't available last year, and a "not-too-intense" black, available in two colors.

Both colors are subtly different from what I already own, which is unfair (laughs). I think this will make enthusiasts of this model want to buy more.

 

 

 

 

 

What particularly caught my eye was the black that's "not too intense."

I own a lot of denim, but black denim was the one thing I hadn't ventured into.

I wasn't keen on black being overly cool, so I always had a reluctance to incorporate it into my own style.

I emphasize "not too intense," but this is just my feeling; this black from HERILL naturally blended in with my style. The relaxed silhouette and material unique to this model combine to create a black that isn't heavy, which might be why it works so well.

I felt that I could recommend this, and since many of my customers are indigo fans, I thought it would be a fresh option, so I decided to select it.Plus, black that can be worn in summer is also great.

It's not that I never wanted black, but rather that I hadn't found the right one, and I'm happy to have found a good solution this time.

Considering the clothes I've been choosing recently, I've noticed an increase in chic items, so I think black will make more appearances. The muted colors create a mature atmosphere, and it's fun to figure out how to incorporate them into my style.

For those who already own it, it might be an obvious statement, but black is really easy to use, isn't it? (laughs)

 

And still, the best part about this denim is the hem width.

My ideal denim size is "2," and the hem width for size 2 is 23cm.

As I've mentioned before, this "23cm" is crucial for me when choosing denim. The reason is that it pairs well with both sneakers and leather shoes that I select, and I've reaffirmed my love for this model as it still complements the shoes I want to wear this season.

And for those who have been loving the "darker" vintage worn color we introduced last year, isn't this what you've been waiting for?

The model we offered had a distinct distressed finish, so this one is darker in comparison.

It's lighter than one-wash indigo, but darker than distressed denim, a perfectly subtle shade.

Two people who love this model styled it for the summer atmosphere they want to wear this year.

The shirts and T-shirts they're wearing are new arrivals, but they look great as a single item, and the combination with loafers also creates a nice atmosphere.
