4-way bag

Nice to meet you. I'm Kubono from THIRD PLACE.

I've appeared in-store and on Instagram since the opening, but this is my first time on the blog!

First, I'd like to take this opportunity to briefly introduce myself.

Born in 1998, from Iwata City, Shizuoka Prefecture.

Member of the soccer club during my school days.

Hobby: Watching Manchester City matches.

That's about it.

My journey to joining the Third Place team started with me being a customer of Nishiwaki and Miura.

Seven years ago, when they were still at 1LDK annex, I met them, became addicted to clothes, and kept visiting.

That's when I decided I wanted to dive into the fashion industry, even though I had been working in a completely different field. I directly negotiated with Nishiwaki (I was turned down a few times, lol), and though it wasn't 1LDK, I was hired into another department of the same company.

Time passed since then, and now we're working together. Haha.

First and foremost, I hope to share a lot about myself through blogs and in-store interactions so that everyone can get to know me!

I look forward to working with you all.

Now, getting to the main topic, my first blog is about "a bag that can be used in 4 ways."

"HAAL"

This is a brand that Nishiwaki introduced at the end of last year and this spring.

HAAL excels in leather, and at our store, Nishiwaki has proposed things like mouton totes and leather totes that are easy for those who are not keen on leather bags to incorporate.

The way it moderately softens the strong, cool image of leather and blends well with casual styles was great, and it was a new discovery for me too.

COL: GRAY / BLACK

This season, HAAL created a bag using nylon material for the first time as a brand.

It uses lightweight nylon with a crisp texture, which is moderately firm yet soft and pliable.

Antwort "SMOOTH TAFEETA DRAPE TUCK PANTS"

Instead of a slick nylon, they chose a natural nylon with a matte finish, making it easy to incorporate into simple outfits.

Actually, I've been using a bag made from the same fabric for about six months now, and I really love it.

It's water-repellent, so I can use it without worrying on rainy days, which is a great help for me since I commute by bicycle.

I'm a bit of a slob, so even if a clothing item says "do not wash," I sometimes wash it anyway (though I never tumble dry in those cases, lol).
That's why this bag, which I can use without a care and, in a good way, carelessly, fits my personality and lifestyle perfectly.

The price point of ¥11,000 including tax is also a key selling point.

I'm sure it's just right for people with type O blood or anyone looking for a casual, easy-to-use bag!

Honestly, a simple nylon bag itself is not uncommon.

However, HAAL offers more than just simplicity; it's a single bag that can be carried in four different ways.

Being able to change how you use it according to your styling or mood for the day is an interesting aspect of fashion, and the ability for the user to "choose" is its greatest appeal.

To create distinction from others, you can add parts or details. Yet, I was drawn to the fact that by deliberately stripping it down, they create new value.

It's a bag that makes you feel like it's not about creating freedom, but preserving it.

That's why I believe everything HAAL makes, whether leather or nylon, naturally blends into various styles and lifestyles.

I hope as many people as possible can get their hands on this bag!
