HAAL mouton bag.

Today I'd like to introduce some of the wonderful bags I've come across this year.

In February of this year, Seki-san, a senior colleague of mine at 1LDK, where I used to work, said to me, "I'd like to introduce you to a new brand that's starting up, if that's OK." I received a call.

At the time, I was just starting out as a 19-year-old, and Seki-san was working as a director at 1LDK, so I was honestly surprised that the time would come when he would contact me like this... At the same time, our preferred styles, proposals, ways of thinking, and generations are all different, so I was very curious to see what kind of proposal Seki-san would make if he took the trouble to contact me.

Here is what they introduced me to.

The brand debuted in AW25 and is called HAAL.

This brand was established with the desire to convey the beauty born from artisanal techniques and the feelings that go into them. Based on HAAL's belief that "skill is heart," we hope to continue creating products in the same way. We hope that HAAL will become a precious thing that protects you.

Listening to designer Fukada-san's story, I was impressed by how he has a simple and gentle way of thinking, yet also a strong will to create his products. All of the leather goods in his collection are appealing in that they are solid yet have designs that are just right for modern life.

Among them, the one I particularly liked was this mouton bag.

This time, I decided to select just this one bag.

This sheepskin tote bag is made by folding and sewing a single piece of leather, without cutting it. It is reversible, so you can use both the grain side and the bottom side. Either way, it's still sheepskin, so it has a nice feel, but I prefer the outside side ( Ginmen).

While there is the high-quality luxury that only Mouton can offer, It doesn't have a beautiful artificial shape, but rather it has a natural feel. I particularly like the fact that there is something like a lot number on the back (floor) of the natural colored piece.

Easy-to-use design that makes the most of the material It can easily fit a PC and other belongings, and the leather strap is thin and long enough to be worn over the shoulder, making it simple and nice.

I don't really like leather bags.

It's because they look too cool for my style. I tend to choose nylon bags and easy-to-use totes because they suit me better. However, deep down I would like to own a leather bag if I could...

This time, I was sure that I could own this mouton, so I chose it without any hesitation. I think that Mr. Seki must have noticed that and introduced me to HAAL.

It definitely goes well with a jacket and leather shoes, but it also pairs perfectly with sweatshirts, denim, and ASICS. I think my customers will agree with this bag and would like to update their style, so I'd like to recommend it to them.

HAAL bags don't have a strong masculine feel, so I think women will like them too. This shop is unisex, so we have a wide selection of items that can be used by both men and women, so I would recommend this mouton bag to many people.
